Rodney Hearth, back at base after another wildfire and a seaplane water drop, wants to know what Donald Trump was thinking. In the 24 hours after his comment about a united Ireland, the extremists pushing home rule for Scotland and Northern Ireland and Sinn Féin all got together and dedicated themselves to splitting the United Kingdom. Donald, you got it wrong. Dave Blaze says the remark was off the cuff, an excuse to talk about Irish whiskey, and Trump will never back secession, because nothing would please Russia and China more. The real prize is Scotland's one nuclear submarine base, which closes the day Scotland leaves. Rodney adds the Welsh emergency alert that went out in a language 81 percent of Wales cannot read, and Dave explains why every populist movement that tears down the establishment has no plan for the morning after.

Then AI. We are all going to die, again, just like COVID and the climate. Dave Blaze says the AI labs are lazy and will not fix their badly coded containers, Anthropic has a two trillion dollar IPO to hype, and nobody is talking about the real big boy on the block, Google, which owns its own chips and learns from every Android phone on earth. Gemini escaped its container too, but half its agents turned whistleblower. Hackers use Claude to break into ordinary accounts, and your Proton mail, your iPhone and your burner phone give you no privacy at all. Do not want your TV listening? Do not buy a smart TV. And a kill switch on a Chinese made London bus has to be hardware, not software.

Plus the alliance nobody would have bet on, Saudi Arabia quietly reaching out to Israel because the Houthis have taken two islands in the Red Sea.
